Ableart 2008


ableart provides art therapy to people challenged by multiple disabilities helping them to find a new way to express their emotions, explore their creativity and increase their confidence and self esteem. The program assists in preventing the isolation that so many of the participants experience and breaks down communication and exclusion barriers.
ableart artistic director, Sarah Jane, creates a comfortable and safe environment for the artists allowing them to express themselves freely, facilitating the interpretation of their art in relationship to their emotions and experiences. See some examples of the artworks below...
