Eddie is an Audiologist and was the Head of Department of Audiology at the Royal Children's Hospital from 1960 to 1997.
His experience includes being past Vice-President and Honorary Life Member of Deafness Foundation Victoria as well as past Member of Advisory Council for Children with Impaired Hearing.
Eddie’s contributions have been recognised with the Ann Sullivan International Medal for work with Deafblind Persons and an Order of Australia Medal for Services to the Deafblind and for the advancement of the field of Audiology.
