Do you have a question for Heather?

This is Heather. You may have been introduced to her through the Deafblind Education Program at your school.
 
Heather is completely deafblind. That means she has no vision or hearing. But there are still many things Heather can do.
 
Can you imagine how hard it would be communicate without speech? Well, Heather can talk through tactile sign language (see below).

Heather still can do many of the things that you and I do. Despite the obvious challenges, Heather has found ways with support, practice and technology to do things like go shopping, cook her dinner, access the internet and chat to friends on the phone!
 
Amazingly, Heather has even been skydiving!
