2012 ablephoto competition taking entries

The ablephoto competition is now open to photographers with deafblindness following on from last year's successful competition.

The competition has three categories:    

1.    My Favorite Thing or person
2.    My Favorite Place
3.    General Category

Photographs will be judged by an independent panel of photographic industry judges. The panel’s decision is final. Prizes will be awarded and announced at the ablephoto
exhibition.

Photographs will be shown at an exhibition after judging is completed. The exhibition will be held in The Atrium, Federation Square, Melbourne from 22nd to 25th May 2012.

Competition guidelines:
• Only people with deafblindness are eligible to enter this competition
• Competition entry form must be completed and sent with photograph.
• If you are unsure of anything regarding the ablephoto competition, please contact your Case Manager or the ablephoto representative in your state.
• All photographs must be registered with Able Australia. Entries can be emailed (in jpeg format but must not to exceed 10MB) to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ,
  personally delivered or posted to Able Australia, 616 Riversdale Road, Camberwell Victoria 3124 to be judged and prepared for exhibition.
• All entries MUST be received and registered with Able Australia by Monday 7 May 2012.
