Your life is very much still for the living, but you may be starting to think about where you would like your estate to go when you are gone.
While the needs of your family should always come first, you can make a significant difference to the life of someone less fortunate just by leaving a donation to a not-for-profit organisation in your will. For many people, this may be the only time they are able to give a significant gift to an organisation that is close to their heart.
By leaving a gift to Able Australia in your will, you will be helping us provide some much needed programs, services and equipment for people with a disability and in community support programs.
You will help create a lasting legacy which will result in significant changes to people’s lives.

Suggested Wording for a Gift to Able Australia
It is vital that that your bequest intentions are worded correctly. This will give clear instructions to your Executors for your exact wishes to be carried out in a timely manner.
An example of wording for your consideration:
I bequeath the sum of $___________/or_________% of the residual of my estate to Able Australia Services for its general purposes, free of all taxes, duties, and testamentary expenses.
The above wording is offered purely as a guide. We recommend that you seek professional legal advice to assist with this process.
