Bid for a $1000 gift voucher to Artist Photographer, a $1000 fashion outfit to Chitra’s Closet in Brunswick, overnight accommodation at Rupertswood Mansion to the value of $500, and Australia Ballet tickets and signed book to the value of $600 just to name a few.
Able Australia’s Events Coordinator and wine critic Gary Daly has played a key role in the organising this charity event and believes it has become one of the biggest and best charity wine auctions in the country. “Already we have a fantastic line up of Australian wineries contributing some truly special releases as well as an exciting selection from boutique wineries, making this year’s event extremely appealing.”

Last year, the highest bid for a bottle of wine was $3,500 for the 2005 Mount Mary Imperial Quintet. The Australian Charity Wine Auction is hoping to hit its $50,000 target for this year’s event through the silent and live auctions.
